GALAGO d. o.o. was established in 2012 and specialises in the sale of electronic components. It was founded with the goal of bringing to life the innovative business ideas of selling electronic components for use in robotics, IOT, automation, and the digitisation of processes, i.e. in the sectors and areas of application that are part of the concept of Industry 4.0. This was spurred on by the huge demand for such products and the lack of supply. We have decided to set up an online store called GALAGO MARKET. Ever since its creation, the company has been developing and growing. This is fuelled by the company's ever increasing popularity in EU and non-EU markets. We are constantly focused on finding new software areas and improving our product range. In 2019, we faced the first shortage of space, which forced us to look for new, larger commercial premises.

Since the company is growing, the need for larger business areas as well as storage areas has increased. The warehouse was moved into a modern business building at Gačnikova pot 2 in Ravne na Koroškem. The appropriate infrastructure will certainly result in the company's continuing success and consolidation of its market position. The company's product range is based on commercial activity.

Our product range is comprised mostly of special electronic components, which development companies build into their devices and products. Their components are mainly used to control electronic devices, access control systems, and commercial displays. Electronic components are also suitable for "hobby" developers of various devices.

The company is, in particular, specialised for the delivery of:

• microcontrollers and
• sensors.

We offer a highly varied sales structure. We have established good business relations with numerous suppliers in Slovenia and abroad. The company is a distributor for Raspberry Pi products, which are used in numerous products connected with modern technology, enable the connections of sensors, and are an open source platform for the development of IOT devices – a distributer for Slovenia, Croatia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, and Serbia. We also have important distribution contracts with Adafruit Industries, Sparkfun, Seeed Studio, Arduino, and others. Most of the products sold by the company are intended to be used in modern mobile applications and systems, automation – factories of the future, smart buildings, and cities. We at the company are pursuing a set strategy, where we want to become the go-to website in Slovenia and the Balkans for the purchase of microcontrollers and sensors.
