Description

Elevate your robotics projects with the Kitronik compact 16 servo driver board, specifically designed for the BBC micro:bit. This innovative board supports the simultaneous control of up to 16 Remote Control (RC) servos, utilizing the PCA9865 driver IC for efficient operation. It features an integrated Edge Connector for easy attachment to the BBC micro:bit, and Expansion Pads that facilitate the linking of additional compatible micro:bit accessory boards through the “Link” pluggable pin header.

The board is powered through a terminal block or a servo-style connector, with an on/off power switch for easy management. A green LED indicator shows when the board is active. Importantly, it provides a regulated 3.3V supply directly to the connected BBC micro:bit via the 3V and GND connections, eliminating the need for a separate power source for the micro:bit. Additionally, the 3V and GND pins are accessible through the Link header, allowing external devices to be powered as well.
