Description

The ATOM HUB SWITCH D is a two-channel relay power control switch, specifically engineered for use with the ATOM main controller. The "D" in its name signifies "Direct," highlighting that the Switch D directly connects the power input to the relays. The AC power supply is fed straight to the Normally Open (NO) contacts of both relays, which are then controlled by the ATOM to toggle on and off. This design allows users to connect their electrical loads directly to the relays, eliminating the need for extra power lines. This module offers a more streamlined and efficient solution for controlling electrical loads compared to traditional relay control methods.

Besides powering the relay loads, the input power supply also runs through an integrated step-down module, providing the ATOM with a 5V/1A DC power supply. To ensure safe operation, the power input circuit includes protections against overheating and short-circuiting. It automatically disconnects in cases of excessive current or short circuits, preventing damage to the components. The Switch D features the SP485EE level conversion chip, furnishing it with an RS485 communication interface for multi-device communication. Additionally, it houses a 9-24V to 5V step-down circuit, catering to industrial power needs and expanding its power supply capabilities. For connecting I2C peripherals or general-purpose I/O devices, the unit provides a set of HY2.0-4P interfaces. When combined with the built-in WiFi functionality of the ATOM, the ATOM HUB SWITCH D facilitates the rapid setup of remote device switching applications.
